Personal Consultation
The consultation lasts from 45 minutes to one hour. The doctor will take a thorough medical history, weight loss history and perform a physical exam. Questions that may arise after your seminar or personal research can be addressed at this time. The doctor will provide you with more information or possibly suggest what procedure might be best suited for your needs and goals. It must be remembered, the patient ultimately decides which procedure he/she will undergo. Currently, there are no conclusive data to suggest that a specific individual should undergo a specific weight loss surgery. After the consultation your physician may require you to see specific specialists or undergo tests for further medical evaluation.
